How to choose the nail design that suits you best?
Did you know that by choosing the right nail design for you, you can take your manicure to the next level and look more well-groomed?
Often the first thing you see is the nail color, possible design, and in some cases the length of the nail. However, the design, or shape, of the nail has a pretty big impact on the usability of the press-on nails and your final "look".
ALMOND
The almond shape is a great everyday nail shape, even in the longer version.
It is often said that the almond shape is best for long, narrow fingers. However, if you feel the call of "almond", don't worry about what they say and go for almond! Almond also balances out nails with a triangular nail bed or an angular nail. It balances out the wider tip of the nail, giving the nail a pleasing design.
Please note that the almond shape tapers towards the tip, which is why choosing the right length is especially important!
COFFIN
The Coffin design is great for adding a little something extra to your nails, but not too much. It's a very understated design that also works well for everyday wear.
The coffin shape works like an almond shape, balancing the triangular nail bed.
SQUARE
If you want to feel like a "baddie", the square model may be for you - especially in the long version!
The Square model is said to fit best if your nails are wide and your fingers are on the shorter side. This model is also suitable if your nail bed is narrow, as it adds a little width, balancing out the narrowness of the nail and making them look more balanced.
ROUND
The round design is probably the most natural version of the different nail designs, and it often fits perfectly into everyone's everyday life.
The round model is recommended to lengthen short fingers. The round model is just as suitable for narrow nail beds as the square model, giving the same effect.
STILETTO
A model that is not for the faint of heart (hahah). The stiletto model has attitude and fierce beauty.
The stiletto model also makes your fingers look longer, so if you have short fingers, the stiletto model may be for you.
FINAL COMMENT
Whatever shape or size your hands or nails are, choose a design that you like. It doesn't matter what is recommended or what others say, right? Be YOU!
The key to choosing the right nail design is to choose the right length for your nails. If your nails are naturally long, the shortest designs are not for you, as they are definitely too small and will pop out from under your nails in no time.
That's why I always recommend using my size guide to make sure your press-on nails are the right size. It's a small cost to get nails that are just right for you and that you can keep for as long as possible. Pssst, and the size and shade guides always have a bundle discount (three for the price of two) and always come with a discount code to order those perfect nails!
